Small town to big dreams

With ambitious goals, a turn of luck, and a found talent, made me want to get out and try making a business. Being a high schooler in the small town of De Soto Kansas I've had my fair share of dreams. It was finally time to act on one that made me excited for the possibilities. Woodworking!!!!! I've always known that working with my hands was a necessity, it just felt right. never thinking of it as a business plan most of my projects were few and far apart for personal projects. When i got the opportunity to really start crafting things for other people truly gave me a sight of my dream. Being able to craft pieces that people enjoy not just for it's function but because they see artistic value.

The opportunity

Having the passion for making things led me to music, of which I still love, but never found the moment to profit. When my good friend talked to me about this cool tool that just made the coolest things, a Round Piece of Wood!!!! I was hooked. The Lathe infatuated me, I only wished I could have one that I could use. Luck had it, my grandparents called saying the had two from one of their friends that recently passed. Then one day I come home to a lathe in the garage. and I just kept making item after item, making whatever I could, I was obsessed. I sold rings to clients and then I realized the opportunity that was in front of me. I needed to learn more, learn everything so I could, now a year in and the growing passion to learn, make, and money is thriving.
